How to Start an Order on SEOClerks (As a Seller)

If you’re new to SEOClerks and wondering how to get started with an order after a buyer purchases your service (gig), here’s a step-by-step breakdown based on my experience:

When a Buyer Places an Order:
  1. Notification: You’ll receive a notification via email and on your SEOClerks dashboard that a new order has been placed.

  2. Order Page: Go to your Orders section from the top menu and click on the order title to open the order page.

  3. Buyer Instructions: If your service requires instructions from the buyer, they will be prompted to submit them. You can’t start work until the buyer completes this step.

  4. Start the Order: Once the buyer submits their requirements (or if your gig doesn’t need them), the order countdown begins. That’s when your delivery timer starts.

? How I Started My Client’s Order (Example):For one of my recent clients who ordered a #banner, #design, and #thumbnail gig:

  • The client submitted their details right after ordering — including preferred colors, text, size (in pixels), and a reference style.

  • I reviewed the requirements, asked a follow-up question for clarification, and confirmed I’d begin right away.

  • I then marked the message as “Requirements received”, which automatically triggered the countdown timer.

  • I delivered the work within the agreed time by clicking “Deliver Work” and attaching the final files (JPEG + PNG).

? Tips:
  • Always communicate with the buyer to clarify anything unclear.

  • Don’t click “Deliver Work” until the job is actually complete.

  • Use “Revisions” if the buyer requests changes.

The order doesn't start until the client submits the requirements on their end. Then the timer starts.
