Which factors do you consider to ensure your users are getting a great UX?

    A great user experience is something that is of utmost importance. It ultimately makes or breaks a website! So you need to make sure that there are no technical issues that hinder the UX.

    What things do you consider to guarantee this?

    I think that it is very important to:
    1. Check how fast the site loads.
    2. Check for any redirect issues.
    3. Check for any errors such as 404 errors.
    4. Make sure the sitemap is up to date.
    5. Make sure there is no boring content, such as duplicate content, or content that is not valuable and informative.

    Yes I agree with this very much. It is so aggravating when I go to a site expecting it to load fast and it does not . I think that it also needs to have excellent content on it, so it will engage readers and visitors.

    For a good user experience I try to make sure they don't have to read for 10 minutes before they understand what the page is about. I want someone to almost instantly know what my website is about when they get to the page.

    Another thing I try to focus on is give aways. People love free stuff and will always come back to visit if they got a free ebook, some kind of download, free consulting, etc. And if I can have them add their email in order to get the freebie that's an added bonus Which factors do you consider to ensure your users are getting a great UX?

    You mentioned 404 pages, and something I always try to do is add a fun 404 page so it brings a smile to someones face if they do end up on there. I try to get them to smile because someone landed on that page and now see a page that says they didn't find what they were looking for. I've actually used an image of Link from legend of zelda before and it showed him with a sword in his back and said "OOPS! You found a dead link!" lol Which factors do you consider to ensure your users are getting a great UX?
