By using these sites, people can easily get information and speak freely. However, China does not want its people to receive information and speak freely. I was caught by surprise when we went to Beijing 2 years ago. I had no idea that Google and Facebook were banned in China. At first, I was wondering why I couldn’t connect to Facebook until my husband remarked that there is no Google and Facebook in China. This is a big issue for Google since China is the biggest market whether in digital or real world.
