Did you know that the color blue in general gives people a sense of security, and that different shades of blue can have different effects on someone's emotions?

Colors affect the human brain in a very unique way. Psychologists have long known the impact of various colors in marketing.

I most certainly use colors in my marketing, you made alot of good points here. I use bright colors but warm not to vibrant. One of the points you made goes directly inline with what i just said "?Colors affect the human brain in a very unique way." I think choosing the correct colors i your logo is very important because you want to make sure that that is not to dull because it will not stick out to the yes. When choosing your logo colors you want to also make sure your colors are not to bright your eyes will tend to move away from them. If you can find the perfect balance the eyes will be attracted to your logo over others. Awesome discussion!

This cool catchy color is a way to go with marketing because of humans eyes catches bright colors way before any dull color.So in trying to create awareness for anything be it one's brand, services or products, then good color which is applied to the advertising tool.It will go a long way to attract people and would-be clients or customers.

I haven't really used colors in my marketing, well not as in check what each color represents and consciously use it. I am more like, hey I love blue let's use blue.

I would love to spend some more time understanding colors and how I can leverage them in my marketing, so thank you for those cool links.

That is very interesting and I agree that colors have a role in marketing. Unfortunately not everybody realizes their importance and the effect that they can have psychologically. Color psychology is a very interesting subject, and the link you provided was very insightful. I particularly agree that it is very true that blue gives you a certain sense of trust as it sort of puts you at ease, and green is also a good option to use in an online store. Red is ideal when you have something discounted for a limited period as it inspires urgency, and black is ideal for certain high quality products.

This is quite an interesting concept. I have never used color to promote my services and products. I do have theme colors for my websites and blogs, however, I have not used a specific color for marketing purpose. Generally speaking, people are attracted to light and colors instead of dark colors. Colors you are using should be visually pleasing.
