Hi Shubh Can any one explain the US laws? I don't really understand your question about the laws for the United States of America regarding social media?

I think perhaps you are referring to the changes to the TOS with Facebook? I know that something has been going on there recently but that has nothing to do with the law of a country, that has to do with the specific social media platform as I understand it?

Maybe I have misunderstood your question?

I told them i got this order via WTB. Stop the buyer in WTB not the seller. This is the first time in 5years in seoclerks.

Considering the fact that you are using a platform based in US, then yes US marketing rules are applying. Can you tell us more about your order? What service are you talking about and why the buyer was not satisfied?

Did he tried to talk to you before "calling" the support staff? I know for a fact that if your provided service report / job is not in any violation with the terms of service, the support will not cancel the order.

As the support staff member told told you, "purposeful negative marketing" is not allowed. If you read the Terms of Service; paragraphs 40 and 41 you will get the complete picture about what and how you are allowed to post your services on Seoclerks.

This being a service platform established in US and Youtube is also an US company / brand, definitely that's why they remove your service. To be completely honest with you, I had no idea that people wanted this kind of service. I knew about Youtube Likes but not about Dislikes. Heh, i'm getting old....

Some time we need negative marketing also. This is not possible to explain everyone. For ex- If a buyer have 5000 likes on video and 3-10 dislikes. It looks fake. Therefore some buyers buy.

This was interesting as I had no idea that there was actually a demand to buy dislikes, although it makes some sense after all as it is indeed strange to have only likes on a video. However, rules are rules, and since this is not allowed you cannot offer that service. It may seem frustrating but ultimately rules are there for a purpose, and I assume that the main reason is to avoid having people purposely putting a brand in a bad light, just to get an advantage from it as they are rivals or competitors. I suggest you consider offering another kind of service which is allowed by the listing guidelines.

I guess there are no specific laws regarding the rules and regulations of social media marketing. We just have to abide with the known ethics like not fooling people or giving false information. When you say social media marketing, the most common for me is the drop shipping where you have a supplier and you promote its products. If you will not scam people then I don’t think you will have an issue.
