    Hello. Right 2nd attempt. Bloody control+w LOL...

    Basically, how do I reset the Google doodle on the Google Homepage? Right now it's showing the "340th anniversary of the determination of the speed of light". Which is cool and all. Happy birthday speed of light right? And I always love those animated or interactive Google doodles. How to reset the Google doodle image on the Google homepage?

    But I just want it to show the normal Google logo. The one that usually shows when they're not marking or celebrating official dates, anniversaries and things using a doodle.

    So how to do that? Is it in my search settings or something as I had a quick look and skim through but could not find that anywhere from that. I had a quick search online but not really tried much. Although there's a few things I might try.

    But it got me wondering if anyone knew of how to do this before I go digging and changing something that's going to take me down some Wonderland rabbit hole! How to reset the Google doodle image on the Google homepage?

    Anyone know how to do that?

    Oh I must not be special at all right since my Google always just says Google South Africa.

    Or maybe it is a setting or something since before my laptop nearly died I used to see those Google doodles but now I can't remember when last I saw that. All my settings and everything changed on my laptop. They upgraded my Windows 10, they made Google Chrome my browser... and other little things... so I have no idea what settings changed but I have no Google doodles.

    Google is always changing the homepage logo I don't even bother to look at it anymore, I seriously don't look at it. Also, most of my searches are done directly from the tab of Chrome, leading me directly to the search results skipping the Google homepage altogether.

    Although when I want to search for images I usually go to google.com or google.ro homepage instead of just doing it from the Chrome tab.
    What I hate the most is the fact the I'm always redirected to google.ro, even when I type google.com in the browser's tab. Pretty annoying, I need to actually modify the url manually after the redirection to end up on google.com
