When I was an active freelance writer, the one thing that helped me more than anything was (not only the good service description) but repeat buyers. It's very difficult to build a solid freelance business if a good percentage of your work comes from one-off type customers who only buy once and then never again.
So, how do you get that customer to come back and order again? If your work is top quality, you won't have to do much as they will want to employ you time and again. Having the lowest prices is not even the best strategy as it puts you in direct competition with others who will under-cut you on prices every time. A better solution is to do your best work every time (whether writing or providing SEO services or
Youtube likes); provide superior customer service and always give more than they asked for. Your buyers will love you for it and come back again and again.
As you said, build trust with your buyer; make them understand you are dependable and will do the job you were hired for. That's when your freelance business will really take off. Great post! And, I really appreciate that you would take time to share your knowledge of freelancing.
