Do you know of / subscribe to any Freelance Magazines?

Hello guys. Do you know of or subscribe to any real physical (or online) Freelance Magazines?

Have you ever come across such a thing?

I was just thinking about this today and realised, I've never come across anything like that in my travels. Have you?

Like an actual physical paper magazine you can buy from the Newsagents, a train station, airport etc.

With all the latest news and stuff about Freelancing within it. By freelancers, for freelancers.

I've done a bit of searching around, and you'd think you'd be able to find an online version of this wouldn't you right?

But as it turns out, there isn't actually really anything out there like this.

An actual offline and both online version of a magazine like many popular mags are today.

And this could be a big thing too don't you think?

I mean, you all know about those freelance stats don't you? I've harped them on here a few times now.

Them's some serious stats with some serious growth doesn't show any signs of bottoming out.

And honestly, how can an industry of infinite demand and supply ever bottom out?

• There are 53 million people doing freelance work in the US – 34% of the national workforce. Freelancers contribute an estimated $715 billion in revenue to the economy.
  
• There are approximately 1.4 million British freelancers working across all sectors which has grown 14% in the past 10 years and the whole UK freelance industry is worth around £21 billion.

But with such a wide and diverse array of freelance services, there is certainly more than enough content wise!

You could make a simple magazine that provided tutorials on how to do things, like sell freelance services & make money.

And with enough publications circulating, you could probably collect a few paying subscribers from it.

Magazines have lots of ways you can make money from them if people are reading them (ads, sponsors etc).

That's why there's all sorts of magazines out there on all sorts of weird and wonderful crap stuff today LOL

And as a freelancer, if I saw a magazine on the shelf of some shop about freelancing, I'd be inclined to buy it.

Even if I wasn't one. I probably would just out of fascination if it taught me about how to make money some how.

I guess you could build up hype by advertising it TV and that (although that costs a bomb), radio and social media.

But that's just part and parcel of starting your own magazine publishing business right?

But I could be on to something here right? What do you think?

Is there potential out there for this sort of thing for freelancers?

Would it, could it be popular amongst freelancers and non-freelancers?

Who will be the first to jump on this untapped niche and tap it!?
