Hello people! I have been thinking for a long time now to give my blog a new appearance. I also have been looking for inspiration by seeing some other succesful blogs and it seems to me like they all have something in common (mostly in my area, which is fashion and lifestyle): they are all minimalistic! What do you think of minimalistic websites?

I always sort of preferred the minimalistic website designs. But even in other areas, such as my desktop, my phone's theme and so on, I love the minimalistic styles. Why? because you can achieve much more by using less. More doesn't always equal as better and if you are good at designing a website you can create an incredible effect where your content will be the whole center - it is achieved through minimalistic designs!
I guess it is always a personal choice but if you like it, then go for it :)

So yeah, I prefer sites that are minimalistic since they tend to be more user-friendly (it's easy to the eyes), and it's more accessible (it is simple so you know were things are located). If you are building a website, putting a material design theme on it would make it look better and appealing. I'm a bit biased here since I love Google's Material Design so I really love anything with material design overlaid on it. I guess you could say that material design is minimalistic since it looks simple but elegant.
