Errors installing themes/plugin on WP site. Plesk hosting... update?

I have a pleasure hosting package. I've been installing themes/plugins successfully at first. But now, whenever I'm installing a theme/plugin I encounter errors where sometimes it's installed or cannot install. What can I do? Please help me out.

The plugin you had been trying to install with WordPress theme- may be that is not compatible with the theme. So you have to try for the theme update first. Otherwise you have to choice any other plug in.

I think you have to contact the support person. And ask them what could be the reason. You may have to check the PHP version. Some plugins seem to be plugin version specific. And this makes it harder to use them. I personally don't see much reason to stick to old PHP version. So see if you can upgrade that and test it again.

2 postings above are good answers. I just want to add few things.
Before you report your problem to the support, make sure:
1. Provide the steps that you do when you are having this problem
2. Provide the exact error message
3. Be honest (maybe you accidentally delete a file or anything).
More details and honest you provide, more faster your problem be solved
