Do you think anyone actually clicks on Reddit ads?

I frequently see random ads on Reddit all the time. I will admit that I disregard them just because they're not relevant to me, but even when they are I don't bother clicking on them. Has anyone had any luck with traffic from ads on that website? I am curious about your experiences. The Internet is a very fickle place, so I'm sure it's hard to promote anywhere.

Considering that most of the ads that usually appear to me are pretty uninteresting (for a number of reasons) I would say that I don't miss them so much.

I think I can count on the fingers on how many ads I've already clicked because it's really rare for me, haha. However, they are a great tool if you know how to use them.

Well, for me I don't click Ads, so it's clearly out of the radar for people like me. even if I find some thing that catch my attention on the banner, I will go directly to the website and check that out. I don't know why I hate going through the website Ad gate way. I just hate clicking Ads.
But as long as the Ads is been displayed then trust me, they are thousands of people clicking the Ads.

Most of the reddit users are using the adblocker. And some are using the reddit gold and keeping adblocker off. So that is how they are getting rid of the ads either way. I am sure that there are some of the people making use of the posts which are boosted. And so it's possible for the conversion on the content. But not sure how good it is for various niche that we are holding out these days. I guess we have to see how that works out with the reddit. I don't know if it is possible in that case to get the proper clicks.

I agree I myself along with the rest of the world use adblock. Matter of fact I personally don't know anyone with a computer who does not use adblock. I have seen some people get really upset over the fact that everyone uses adblock and yet they have a million ads plastered over their website and they are the posterchild why people use adblock.

Yes ads is the reason web is surving. Otherwise getting hosting for high traffic and keeping stuff hosted is not easy. And another thing is that adblockers are selling the data to the ad agencies. Take firefox focus browser for example. it collects the data for ad agency and sells it. So that can be one thing to consider when it comes to making use of the ads.

I never really actually clicked on the ads my self either. I would love to promote one of my subreddits on there tho, and just see how well it does. That is a good way also to get traffic, if you create a subreddit in your niche and put one of your blog posts and pin it to the top by clicking on make announcement it will be pinned to the top. They there are few good sellers on SEOCLERKS to get subscribers and also upvotes. But, also promote you subreddit like crazy and the more subs will see your pinned post.

I visit Reddit too and ads pop up everywhere, for me if I see a banner with some incription that has to do with me I click it to find out the actual information on it.So yes I click on the ads when need be.

If there's no personal connection to what's popping up for you, I see no reason to click on the ad (at least in my point of view

).

Maybe at some point you can click on some out of curiosity, but the natural thing is you just click on what is connected to you in some way.

Well, I do use Adblock but on I see them on my phone if you mean those that appear in the middle of the page? That look like a post? I have clicked one or two by mistake once but other than that no. Those ads don't show anything that is interesting to me at all... I usually get ones that are something about holidays or virus alerts. So I am not sure how effective they are.

Obviously, they work or they wouldn't be on there. However, though, it might not be the case in the future as ad-blockers might eventually make ads obsolete as they have in certain Asian nations. In that case, advertisers will need another method.

They have some advertisements that are placed in between the Reddit posts and I don't think that ad blocks actually get rid of those. I don't really use an ad blocker so I don't know whether or not it actually removes it.

I visit Reddit both on my laptop and through my phone (using the Reddit app). I have never actually bothered to even read the advertisements that I have come across. I have seen them but I know that they are advertisements so I have never bothered to look at them to see whether or not they even interest me. Personally, Reddit would probably be the last place I buy advertisements on because I just think they would just not be as effective as other sites.

I'm the same way. To be honest, the last ad I can remember seeing on Reddit was an ad for another subreddit on the site, which I thought was odd. I'd be interested in seeing analytics from someone who has run ads on the site. I'm also an avid user of their platform, and I don't think I've ever clicked on an ad on their site.

I don't know if I'm the best person to answer this sort of question considering I don't think I have ever clicked an advertisement even once in my life, on any website. The fact just is that you can target me with all sorts of ads, and whether they are completely unrelated to things I'm interested in, or have exactly the kind of stuff I'm into, it basically doesn't change the outcome. That being said, of all the websites on the internet using advertising, I think that Reddit is among the least effective. I've never seen an ad on there that I even cared to give a second glance.

I'm not a user of Reddit and have, on some occasion, not be able to manage another social media network apart from Facebook. However, I don't think that there are people that do not make sales through ads and continue to do it. It is because that they made it that made them continue to do the ads.

You know, I'm not sure what the ROI is on Reddit ads. You might reach out to someone who has run ads through them and see what they think. If you place your ads on appropriate subreddits to your service or product, I don't see why you wouldn't generate at least a little bit of traffic from the site. Reddit has a huge following, so I would be surprised if you lost money out of it.

As for me personally, I can't remember a time that I ever clicked an ad on Reddit, and I've been using the site regularly going on 5 years or so now. So I guess take that with a grain of salt.

Reddit is not my thing, and I certainly don't bother clicking on its ads. Most times, I found these ads very irritating and I do buy the idea of using adblocker.

As a site, Reddit is designed in a way where ads don't normally stand out as well as they do on other social networking sites. Most reddit users are also very young so they dislike being 'over advertised' to the most. I imagine the ones who aren't having Reddit ads blocked through browsing tools, most likely just ignore them.

I think that can happen for visitors there but not at all. For me, I never click on ads on Reddit unless it was a click fraud that I didn't want.
Also, I am using Adblockers on browsers thus I don't think I will have an opportunity to see banner ads on Reddit and clicking it

I click on those all the time, and I bookmark them for later review or use. I don't think I have ever used a site or service I clicked on there though, but I do like to have them ready as an option when I do finally feel like I need such services. It's just that for now I am at a different stage and have no need for them yet, but it does not mean I will not in the future. However, I would say that a lot of the ads I get are from companies that are just starting out so I understand the hesitation, as I myself would hesitate a little bit because the sites I have seen so far are all so new.

I don't think Reddit ads really work. Lots of people are now aware of click baits and many misleading marketing tactics. It's better to focus on improving your products and services than tricking your potential clients.
